What is a Spring Retreat?
A "retreat" is a time for youth and adult leaders to spend quality time away from the distractions of the world to have fun, grow together, and to grow in their relationship with God. We look forward to playing games, having conversations about God, and taking part in a "low ropes" challenge course to help us learn how to face challenges and solve problems together.
Where will it be held?
Our Spring Retreat will be held at Camp Pecometh. Camp Pecometh is a wonderful Christian Camp located on the Chester River between Centreville and Chestertown. The picture above is of their outdoor chapel.
We will stay in a "bunk house" that houses 36 people. The bunk house is divided with girls on one side, guys on the other. The two sides are separated by a large common space.

When is it scheduled?
The retreat is scheduled for March 8-10, 2024. We will leave in the early evening on Friday and return on Sunday.
How much will it cost?
Due to the success of the soup & sub sale, and some generous donations, every current member of the Sharptown Youth Group will be able to attend the retreat for just $25. If this is a hardship, please let Pastor Dave know. Please make checks out to the Asbury-Mt. Vernon Discretionary Fund.
